INGREDIENTS

2 salmon fillets (approx. 6–8 oz each)
1 tbsp oil
Salt
Pepper
Green onions
Sesame seeds
Rice
Soy sauce
Chili


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat; add oil and let it warm until shimmering.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down (if skin on) and cook for ~4–5 minutes until the skin is crisp and golden.
  4. Carefully flip the fillets and cook for another 3–4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches ~125–130 °F (for medium) or cooks to your preference.
  5. Remove salmon from skillet and let rest for 1 minute.
  6. Plate the salmon, add chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with rice and season rice with Yay's beef crisps. Dip in chili mixed withsoy sauce to your preference.
